Luna Dress in Reverse Floral Block Print, Blue and White

The Luna Dress, what can we say?  We named this dress after the moon, while dreaming of those beautiful summer full moon rises at the coast.  Have you ever seen the Strawberry Moon rise in June?  If not, we highly recommend it - from any location.  What’s really interesting is that the sun sets and the full moon rises at the same time. If you can see it from a perch where the horizon is flat and wide, wow…what a lovely sight.  

You did not come here for an earthbound astronomy lesson, but now you know the inspiration behind our designs…where we imagine you might go in such a simple, but chic, dress.

**Block printing is done completely by hand - from the carving of the blocks that create the print, to the stamping.  This print, being a “reverse”, means that the background color of blue is hand painted on the fabric around the stamped print.  Because it is hand painted, sometimes it has an uneven color fill, much like watercolor paints.  Please note this is not a defect, but proof of authenticity of a genuine hand block printed fabric.
