*Block printing is done completely by hand - from the carving of the blocks that create the print, to the stamping.  This print, being a “reverse”, means that the background color of blue is hand painted on the fabric around the stamped print.  Because it is hand painted, sometimes it has an uneven color fill, much like watercolor paints.  Please note this is not a defect, but proof of authenticity of a genuine hand block printed fabric.
